Aldo Spensieri leaves Clover
May 4, 2020
Spensieri left the company by at the end of March having been Vice President Channel Sales and MPS Canada.
Taking to LinkedIn Spensieri announced his departure from Clover Imaging as part of the restructuring of the business and to say “thank you to both my colleagues and to my industry friends. I am honoured to have had the opportunity to work with you in the past and I sincerely hope that our paths cross again in the future.”
Quoting Alexander Graham Bell, he said, “When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.” I’m looking forward to seeing what the open door will bring. Cheers!”
Spensieri has over 20 years’ industry experience. His most recent role was as the Vice President Channel Sales and MPS Canada for Clover Imaging. Prior to that he was the Director of sales at Printfleet. His early career saw VP Sales and business Development roles at Westpoint Products – Canada, Printing Technologies Inc and Tecknolaser.
Luke Goldberg the former Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing at Clover Imaging Group until last year, gave this heartfelt recommendation about Spensieri. “I have worked with Aldo both directly at Clover when I managed our MPS and services group and indirectly as an industry cohort for the last 13 years or so.
My experience with Aldo correlates to his reputation; he is the consummate professional and more critically, a gentleman with impeccable integrity. Aldo is universally liked and respected by all in the dealer community and also by his peers, staff or in my case his direct supervisor. Aldo was an empowering leader who elicited the best from his team via a collaborative approach versus top down directives.
He was a great person to work with on the MPS side both because of his knowledge and experience with software but also his forward thinking with innovations like seat based billing which can evolve a stagnant platform forward. I can attest to the fact that Aldo made those around him better, myself included. I’d work with him again in a heartbeat and know that whatever path he takes, if you’re on that path with him you’ll be better for the experience.”
