Choice Stationery Supplies was established in December 2000 and the current director is Paul Andrews, who has been with the company since its formation. The company specialises in online sales of stationery and office printer consumables.
In 2018 Choice Stationery Supplies were nominated for Somerset Business Awards “Business of the Year” award and were successfully in being awarded the BOSS Awards, “e-business Award” in recognition for their use in harnessing the power of the internet to improve its business performance.
In 2012 The Recycler reported that Choice Stationery Supplies was among a number of IT resellers who moved operations away from the Channel Islands following the closure of the Low-Value Consignment Relief (LVCR) tax loophole.
Suppliers and resellers located in the Channel Islands had been able to distribute low-cost products including printer cartridges and memory cards VAT-free to UK customers, which the council for the Treasury and HM Revenue & Customs determined was “abusive and amounted to tax avoidance”.
No date for the creditors meeting has been published.
