A plethora of removal requests from Canon

Canon is concluding the week with the announcement of the filing of more toner cartridge removal requests with Amazon.com and Amazon UK.
Continuing its campaign against patent infringement, Canon has been stepping up its steady flow of Report Infringement Forms filed with various divisions of Amazon.
Among these reports, Canon has revealed the filing of a Report Infringement Form with Amazon UK based on the alleged use of claim 1 and 25 of the UK portion of Canon’s European Patent EP 2 087 407 regarding the cartridge model “CE505X” offered by Anverkauf Einzelunternehmen under the ASIN B01FO0EIUS. Afterwards, Amazon took down the respective product. This product is compatible with the OEM HP cartridge model CE505X and provides a non-OEM coupling member, a non-OEM drum as well as a non-OEM housing.
Also filed with Amazon UK was a Report Infringement Form based on the alleged use of claim 1 and 25 of the UK portion of Canon’s European Patent EP 2 087 407 regarding the cartridge model “CE505A” and “CF280A”offered by N&J Inkjet Ltd. under the ASINs B00MWV68TC and B00MWV75X0.
Amazon took down the respective products, which are compatible with the OEM HP cartridge models CE505A and CF280A and comprises a non-OEM coupling member, a non-OEM drum as well as a non-OEM housing.
In addition, Canon has announced the filing of Report Infringement Forms with Amazon.com seeking removal of Amazon.com listings toner cartridges sold by Carlos Imaging for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s Report Infringement Forms alleged that certain model CF226A toner cartridges sold by Carlos Imaging via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent Nos. 8,280,278; 8,630,564; 8,682,215; 8,688,008; and 8,676,090. Canon requested that Amazon remove Carlos Imaging’s listings for those products, namely, Carlos Imaging’ listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers B01BKWK00G, B01BKWK0TC, B01BKWJZM0 and B01BKWK0EC.
At the time of this announcement, the above-identified Carlos Imaging listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.
Finally, Canon says it has filed Report Infringement Forms with Amazon.com seeking removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by SuperInkToner for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s Report Infringement Forms alleged that certain model CE505A toner cartridges sold by SuperInkToner via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent Nos. 8,280,278; 8,630,564; 8,682,215; 8,688,008; and 8,676,090. Canon requested that Amazon remove SuperInkToner’s listings for those products, namely, SuperInkToner’s listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers B07KZYY8QH, B07KZZQKZ8, B07KZYG13V, B07KZXHJKW, B07KZX8QN6, B07KZWD7JP, B07KZHPG4M, B07JVWLKYZ, B07F8WZ9PV, B07F8TL6ZK, B07F8TB5RG, B07F8T6T53, B07F8RCWSH, B07F8R2T4T and B07F8Q836J.
At the time of this announcement, the above-identified SuperInkToner listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.
