3DZ gets the Lyon’s share
June 8, 2018
The 3D printer reseller has opened a new business division in Lyon, France, its sixth regional headquarters in Europe.
Since its foundation in 2009, 3DZ now has premises across Spain, Italy, Hungary, Serbia, Albania, Romania, and Malta, and has installed approximately 300 3D printers for around 700 customers across these areas, according to 3Dprintingindustry.com.
Now it has opened a new location in France, in collaboration with Vision3D-France, a company set up to help local businesses adopt additive manufacturing solutions. 3DZ Lyon will initially be distributing on behalf of three companies (3D Systems, Markforged, and Sicnova) although it has the potential to expand on this in the future.
“We are trusted by many different companies from the EMEA region because we offer our partners a consolidated business presence with a strong brand and a unified market platform,” explained 3DZ’s Sales Director, Sandro Festa. ““Some of the most important OEMs are pushing us to expand our sales network because we are aware of our solid financial foundation, our privileged marketing, our 10 years and more of experience in 3D (both hardware and software) and that we deliver within 48 hours, with DHL, throughout Europe.”
3DZ Lyon started its life at the Lyon-Eurexpo 3D Print Show this week, where it held a series of workshops to help visitors understand the possibilities of 3D printing, and its Markforged range in particular.
For Sandro, this latest expansion is just the most recent step of 3DZ’s plans to grow right across Europe.
“We were among the first to believe in 3D printing for the future of production and we are convinced that we are only at the beginning to see what these technologies can offer us.”
