HP solution to enhance remanufacturing
HP has always considered the environment in the design of our products. With an increased focus on circularity, one of the next areas of innovation is how to restore the ink/toner level tracking and properly message remanufactured supplies with the original HP chip. In this talk, HP will outline our proposed solution to enhance the remanufacturing of HP empty ink and toner cartridges.

Regulatory Shifts Reshaping Imaging Consumables Landscape
The regulation of IE in Europe has a high potential to shrink the aftermarket chip industry for imaging equipment consumables, as increased OEM chip and resetting will reduce third-party chip demand. OEMs are clamping down on empty cartridge supplies, launching initiatives like Circular Planet and subscription models. Delacamp CartMart® marketplace wants to create a counterpole. These changes, along with evolving EU and US chemical regulations, are reshaping toner, drum, and consumable constituents and supply. The current drafting of the US EPEAT Imaging Equipment Consumables Criteria reveals how relevant OEMs want to shape their future in view of more and more pressure to become more circular.
Speaker: Volker Kappius, CEO, Delacamp
Cartridge Legality and Compliance: Today and 1st Quarter 2025 – What Changes?
