RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances and is an EU directive that restricts hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment to reduce environmental and health risks during disposal and recycling. It limits the use of specific substances, promoting the development of eco-friendly electronic products. Compliance is mandatory for companies selling within the EU market.
