In August we took a seven day, 3,000-kilometre road trip around northern Europe to see just how well the mobile office concept works.

The rules were simple: The Recycler news team was on holiday. Yours truly was armed with our mobile technology consisting of two iPhone 6plus, two MacBook Airs, an HP 150 OfficeJet mobile printer and a lot of charging cables.

We set off in “Bertie” our motorhome and while on the move the challenge was to research, write and upload the daily news stories, produce the daily and weekly newsletters, download, print, proof and correct issue 298 of The Recycler. Oh and fit in a side trip to cover a story for another news outlet that had to be written and uploaded. All while on the move.
