The latest warning comes from Italeco advising of the latest firmware update from Lexmark.
Publishing a post on Social Media, Italeco said: “We inform that Lexmark has released a new firmware update dated 25.04.2019”
The company explains it is the firmware update with the file name LW72.PRL.P030.zip which was released 25 April 2019 and is version LW72.PRL.P030 FDN.PIR.E712.
Italeco continued to say: “Lexmark added more commands, UII / Italeco chips will NOT be affected because we have already prepared for in our time activated chip code. We confirm that our chips will work fine also in this new Firmware.”
This is the latest firmware update that is troubling the aftermarket and follows on from HP’s and Brother’s recent updated firmware versions.
