The new releases are made with ASIC technology and are for use in a range of Kyocera models.

The first compatible chip is for use with black cartridges for use in the Kyocera TK1200.

Utec has also released a compatible chip for cartridges for use in the Kyocera TK5270/5280/5290 series machines.

The company claims the ASIC technology makes the chips “more reliable” through optimisation.
