The OEM’s Swiss subsidiary has confirmed that Hanspeter Heer has taken up the post of Managing Director.
Heer will be responsible for channel sales in the alpine nation, and will be promoting cooperation between Lexmark and its partners from specialist retailers, according to IT-Markt.
He will succeed Hans-Michael Voss in the role, who has moved on to manage the company’s Professional Services division in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland.)
Hanspeter Heer takes up the position after many years in the Swiss printer market, having previously worked at NRS Printing as Senior Consultant for MPS, as well as being Managing Director of consulting firm Paclog, and holding roles at packaging material retailer Bourquin, and Basellandschaftia Regia Group, where he held the role of Head of Marketing & Corporate Business Development.
“We are pleased to have Hanspeter Heer, a proven connoisseur of the Swiss output industry, on board,” said Michael Lang, Lexmark’s Director of Channel Sales for DACH, who praised Heer’s “significant influence” on the Swiss printing industry, and the benefit that his experience will bring.
“The Swiss market is the focus of our DACH channel strategy,” he added.
