Vulnerabilities found in Fujifilm printers expose enterprise networks to potential cyberattack risk.
Fujifilm has issued an urgent security update after discovering multiple vulnerabilities affecting its multifunction printers and office devices, warning users to apply firmware patches immediately. The company said it had not yet seen any evidence of active exploitation but urged customers to follow mitigation steps, including firewall restrictions and VPN configurations.
The vulnerabilities, disclosed in an advisory on Monday, impact a wide range of models commonly deployed in corporate environments.
The disclosure comes amid heightened scrutiny of hardware vulnerabilities following the publication of CVE‑2025‑48799—a separate Windows Update Service flaw that allows local privilege escalation via a link-following bug (CWE‑59).
The company said it continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates if the threat landscape evolves.
