After more than a decade leading Print-Rite in India, veteran industry advocate Sanjeev Mahajan steps down — closing a chapter in a career spanning four decades, from OEM to aftermarket and from start-ups to market leadership.
Sanjeev Mahajan has stepped down as Country Manager and Consultant for Print-Rite/UTEC, effective 31 July 2025, after more than a decade with the company.
Based in New Delhi, Mahajan joined Print-Rite in early 2015. He worked to grow the brand’s presence in India and the wider region, developing long-term partnerships with customers and distributors across multiple countries.

Mahajan told customers: “It has been an incredibly rewarding journey building Print-Rite’s presence in India. We have achieved much, and so many customers… are happy and satisfied.”
A veteran of the imaging industry since 1984, Mahajan’s CV spans senior roles with Static Control, Katun, Ricoh, Xerox, Kodak, NANDipl and others. His work has ranged from OEM to aftermarket, from establishing start-ups to leading turnarounds. He is known for opening new markets, building channels and mentoring remanufacturers.
In his Print-Rite role, Mahajan championed high-quality aftermarket solutions, supported Indian customers with Made-in-India products, and expanded the market for jumbo toner cartridges, bulk inks and 3D printing products. He also helped customers overcome import challenges and broadened the brand’s reach into new territories.
Mahajan said he now looks forward to “new and rewarding opportunities” and intends to remain active in the sector: “We all have toners in our blood.”
