MyQ names Katun as official distributor across dealer network

Jul 11, 2025

MyQ has announced that Katun will distribute its full suite of print management software, expanding dealer access to MyQ X and strengthening Katun’s position in the evolving office solutions market.

MyQ has announced a strategic partnership with Katun, appointing the company as an official distributor of its print management software portfolio from this month. The announcement was made in a LinkedIn video posted by MyQ, outlining the benefits of the new arrangement for office equipment dealers.

According to MyQ, the agreement is designed to support dealers with an end-to-end offering — from pre-sales consultation through to deployment, training, and ongoing service. Katun will offer the full MyQ X software suite, which includes secure print, document workflow automation, mobile and remote access, and integration with cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.

In the video, MyQ highlighted four key benefits for dealers:

  • End-to-end support via Katun’s service infrastructure
  • Brand-agnostic implementation across all major printer platforms
  • Access to MyQ Premium Plus Software Assurance, with 24/7 support and priority SLAs
  • Expert professional services for solution deployment and optimisation

MyQ describes its MyQ X platform as a scalable, user-friendly solution with a customisable printer interface, one-tap scan workflows, and advanced administrative tools for centralised print policy management and real-time monitoring.

The company said the partnership will create a “powerful one-stop ecosystem” enabling dealers to deliver greater value, faster service, and improved customer experience.

Katun had not issued a separate statement at the time of writing.

Our take on this: This latest move marks another step forward in Katun’s new OEM journey — one that’s likely to unsettle more than a few established players in the market. By adding software distribution to its evolving offer, Katun is quietly expanding its footprint in ways that go well beyond imaging hardware and consumables.
