Konica Minolta secures place on new framework

May 14, 2025

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd announced that it has been awarded a place on a new Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) framework that facilitates the compliant procurement of multifunctional devices (MFDs) for its 10,000+ registered members in the education sector, as well as any other Public Sector or non-profit making organisation.

The national Multifunctional Devices and Associated Products and Services (including Print & Design) framework commenced on 7th April 2025 and will run until 1st April 2029.

Public Sector institutions across the UK can access Konica Minolta’s new bizhub i-Series range of A3 and A4 mono and colour MFDs. These devices deliver the performance, reliability, connectivity and security that organisations need, at a competitive price point and low operating costs. Moreover, Konica Minolta’s commitment to the environment supports sustainability goals, from its innovative toner that uses less power and improves paper recycling, to the recycled materials used to build the MFDs.

These benefits can be amplified further through print management software, also available from Konica Minolta, to create a smart solution that enables institutions to take control of what is being printed, where, when, by whom and in what volumes, to reduce unnecessary printing and its associated financial and environmental costs.

Andy Cornish, Framework Manager, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd, said: “We are proud to be included in this new framework and to continue our long and successful collaboration with the CPC in meeting the evolving print requirements of the Public Sector across the UK.”

Managing Director of Crescent Purchasing Consortium, Darren Lowe, said, “We were delighted to launch our Multifunctional Devices and Associated Products & Services purchasing framework in April, a framework that also covers Print & Design Services.”

Lowe added, “CPC’s vision is to be the procurement services partner of choice for the education sector and, through our work, to help the sector enhance teaching and learning. This new framework does exactly that.”

“We understand how important this technology is to the education sector – and the framework can help members with their print requirements, while driving value for money and regulatory compliance,” continued Lowe, “Members can also benefit from CPC’s dedicated print helpdesk in which our experienced Contracts Manager, Kath Johnson, is available to help every step of the way.”
