The company has released its third quarter and nine-month financials consolidated results, citing increased revenues for the third quarter.
For the third quarter period, Konica Minolta posted revenue of ¥290.3 billion ($1.79 billion/ €1.63 billion), a year-on year increase of 34%. For the nine-month period, the company posted revenue of ¥821 billion ($6.34 billion/ €5.8 billion), an increase of 24% year-over-year.
For the Digital Workplace segment, Konica Minolta attributed the increase to “recovery in production volume, ongoing improvements in logistics transportation periods, and reduced order backlog”.
Revenue for the three-month period in the Digital Workplace segment was posted as ¥158.7 billion ($1.23 billion/ €1.12 billion), up 47% year-over-year and for the nine-month period it was ¥437.1 billion ($3.4 billion/ €3.1 billion), an increase of 31% year-over-year.
Konica Minolta added that supply volume of hardware increased due to efforts to secure components and increase production volume, steady progress was made in reducing the order backlog and sales increased significantly.
Forecasts for the full year have been left unchanged.
