M&L Polymers ventures into toner powder recycling

Sep 13, 2022 | 0 comments

Simon Snow of UK-based M&L Polymers has long been dealing with difficult polymer waste streams, and with his experience is now able to offer solutions for toner powder and toner cartridge waste.

Waste toner powder, a by-product of the cartridge collection and remanufacturing, is classified as hazardous waste and is somewhat difficult to dispose of and the industry is always looking for a greener and more cost-effective way of disposing of it.

Recently established M&L Polymers is now offering a waste toner recycling service where the company says “the toner is 100% recycled into several different industrial processes like road surfacing and other low costing products as a colouring and other products.”

The company is also able to pick up toner cartridges if needed, where it tries to bring the working or reusable ones back into the remanufacturing channel and any that end up as waste material are shredded for the material to be reused.

The company accepts toner powder and cartridge waste direct from companies or can organise specialist transport companies to collect and transport the waste. Full documentation for the waste (in case of cartridges) is supplied.
