The BP-F400 will be on sale from mid-November 2020 in Japan.
The new Canon BP-F400 is a small and lightweight A4-compatible mobile printer. The main body size is 254 (width) x 55 (depth) x 30 (height) mm, and weighs about 580g. It has a sturdy body and is designed to be portable and easy to store in a bag.
It offers high-speed printing at a resolution of 300 dpi in 5.7 seconds per page, and by using a large-capacity, high-discharge battery, 600 pages can be printed continuously for two hours.
In addition, the use of a thermal head realises a page yield of 100,000 pages, and it is not necessary to replace ink cartridges. Canon added that the standard paper feed guide is convenient when loading paper.
It is possible to print via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or USB connection, and it is possible to connect to a PC or a tablet.
